The English as a Second Language (ESL) program supports the significant number of students at Crestwood for whom English is a second language.

An HSC ESL English Course is available for Year 11 and 12 students.

Students who are identified as not reaching a proficient English language standard in any year group are

• assessed by the ESL teacher to determine suitability for the program
• provided with an individual program of assistance to develop English proficiency
• assessed again to measure their level of achievement in language development.
